  • "Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026.

  • "Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.

About the Role

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer with extensive AI experience, you will lead the development and deployment of vision algorithms and AI models for our space imaging systems. You will collaborate with engineers and scientists to process and interpret data from orbital sensors, delivering reliable insights to support navigation and mission operations.

Job Description

  • Define and maintain standards for computer vision and AI across projects and mentor mid- and junior-level engineers.

  • Design, implement, and optimize vision pipelines for spaceborne sensors.

  • Evaluate and integrate deep-learning approaches to improve performance under constrained compute.

  • Oversee interpretation of large-scale imaging datasets to detect anomalies, track changes, and support decision making.

  • Collaborate with GNC, robotics, and flight software teams to embed vision modules into in-orbit autonomy systems.

  • Establish validation frameworks and CI/CD processes for automated training, testing, and deployment on Linux and edge platforms.

  • Stay informed of emerging computer vision and AI techniques and contribute to technical reviews and cross-functional discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field; at least 8 years of computer vision/AI development experience, including leadership roles.

  • Proficiency in Python and C++ (Matlab a plus) and hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

  • Strong understanding of classical computer vision algorithms (feature extraction, multi-view geometry) and modern deep-learning methods.

  • Comfortable with Linux development, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

  • Experience deploying ML workflows on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English for technical documentation and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct involvement with space or satellite imaging systems and real-time robotics frameworks.

  • Background in satellite guidance, navigation, and control or related autonomy applications.

  • Familiarity with 3D computer graphics, photogrammetry, or remote sensing.

  • Publications or open-source contributions in top-tier computer vision or AI conferences.

If you meet the above requirements and are excited about working on cutting-edge technology in the space industry, we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to be part of an international team transforming the space industry.

  • A creative and innovative work environment where ideas turn into reality.
