"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO.
"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you are the bridge between our technical teams and our clients. You contribute from opportunity identification through to contract signature, bringing the systems and operations expertise needed to build compelling, tailored technical proposals.
Alternative locations: Germany, London or Luxembourg.
Job Description
Client needs analysis: Understand mission architectures, operational constraints, and satellite operators' objectives.
Solution design: Develop customized technical proposals integrating our products (autonomous navigation, life extension, inspection).
Bid support: Author the technical sections of RFI/RFP responses, size solutions, and estimate costs.
Demonstrations and presentations: Present our capabilities during client meetings, trade shows, and technical reviews.
Internal interface: Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure offer feasibility and competitiveness.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Engineering degree (or Master's) in space systems engineering, satellite operations or a related field.
3 to 7 years of experience in a technical role related to satellite operations, mission systems engineering, or pre-sales in the space sector.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of satellite system architectures and associated operational constraints.
Knowledge of satellite subsystems (AOCS, propulsion, communications, payload).
Familiarity with bid processes in the space sector.
Ability to model and size technical solutions.
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to convey complex topics clearly.
Commercial acumen and customer orientation.
Autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent English required (international environment); French is a plus.
