Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions
"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026.
"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO / Head of Finance, the Industrial Financial Controller will play a key role in building Infinite Orbits’ financial control framework and bridging Finance, Engineering, and AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) teams.
Job Description
Financial management & reporting
Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts for R&D and production activities.
Lead monthly closings, analyze actual vs. budget variances, and propose corrective actions.
Produce management reports for leadership and investors.
Industrial controlling
Set up production cost tracking: components, labor, subcontracting, testing, etc.
Help define standard costs, cost of goods sold, and project/satellite margins.
Contribute to ERP and dashboard implementation for financial and operational tracking.
Work closely with Engineering and AIT teams to ensure cost accuracy and traceability, as well as monitoring cash requirements to finance working capital requirements and cash receipts.
A thorough understanding of customer/supplier contracts and commitments is essential for modeling forecasts and providing support for potential negotiations.
Participate in financial audits
Decision support
Support business plan development, cost models, and pricing for new offers.
Contribute to grant and subsidy monitoring (CNES, EU, etc.).
Be proactive in identifying efficiency improvements and supporting business growth.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control, or Engineering with a financial specialization.
3–5 years’ experience in management control, ideally in an industrial, aerospace, or space environment.
Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI, etc.).
Structured, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-changing start-up environment, & multi-companiesinternational.
Professional English required.
