Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions

  • "Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026.

  • "Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO / Head of Finance, the Industrial Financial Controller will play a key role in building Infinite Orbits’ financial control framework and bridging Finance, Engineering, and AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) teams.

Job Description

Financial management & reporting

  • Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts for R&D and production activities.

  • Lead monthly closings, analyze actual vs. budget variances, and propose corrective actions.

  • Produce management reports for leadership and investors.


Industrial controlling

  • Set up production cost tracking: components, labor, subcontracting, testing, etc.

  • Help define standard costs, cost of goods sold, and project/satellite margins.

  • Contribute to ERP and dashboard implementation for financial and operational tracking.

  • Work closely with Engineering and AIT teams to ensure cost accuracy and traceability, as well as monitoring cash requirements to finance working capital requirements and cash receipts.

  • A thorough understanding of customer/supplier contracts and commitments is essential for modeling forecasts and providing support for potential negotiations.

  • Participate in financial audits


Decision support

  • Support business plan development, cost models, and pricing for new offers.

  • Contribute to grant and subsidy monitoring (CNES, EU, etc.).

  • Be proactive in identifying efficiency improvements and supporting business growth.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control, or Engineering with a financial specialization.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in management control, ideally in an industrial, aerospace, or space environment.

  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI, etc.).

  • Structured, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-changing start-up environment, & multi-companiesinternational.

  • Professional English required.
