"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026.
"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
About the Role
The Electrical AIT Lead drives all electrical and functional integration and testing activities across satellite AIT phases.
He/She ensures the readiness, performance, and reliability of electrical test means and leads the AIT electrical team to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Job Description
Defining electrical test strategies, procedures, and automation approaches aligned with system and AIT requirements.
Leading EGSE procurement and acceptance (specifications, RFPs, FAT/SAT, commissioning, maintenance).
Overseeing CCS implementation and operation, including test automation, validation, and data integrity.
Managing and developing the AIT electrical team, ensuring competence growth and efficient task allocation.
Acting as the main interface with system engineering, software validation, project management, and suppliers for all electrical AIT topics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
8+ years’ hands-on experience in EGSE system architecture and lab operations for GEO telecom or scientific missions.
Demonstrated expertise with SCOE/RF test equipment (up/down converters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) and EGSE power interfaces.
Proven track record in electrical harness design, power distribution and connector qualification for space applications.
Strong background in electrical safety, grounding/EMC practices and high-voltage test procedures.
Experience specifying, procuring and qualifying space-grade cabling, umbilicals and RF hardware.
Ability to lead supplier FAT/SAT cycles and manage non-conformance through to closure.
Excellent problem-solving skills in lab-based troubleshooting during high-stakes AIT campaigns.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English for technical documentation and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with RF lab automation (LabVIEW, PXI, or equivalent).
Experience with FDIRÂ strategies, fault-injection and redundancy-validation test campaigns.
Knowledge of ECSS-E-ST-10, ITU coordination processes or ground-station RF licensing.
Prior work managing calibration schedules and MCO workflows in a high-reliability environment.
