"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026.
"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
About the Role
We are looking for a Satellite Product Assurance & Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure traceability, consistency, and quality across our satellite system – from concept to flight – in a lean, New Space environment.
Job Description
Serve as the projects' Product Assurance focal point, consolidating PA topics, ensuring compliance with PA/QA expectations, and leading all PA/QA topics with the customers, Bureau LOS (French Space Law Office) and the internal project teams.
Support engineering quality, reviewing designs and documentation, ensuring configuration and requirements traceability, and validating correct application of PA rules (EEE, materials, processes).
Ensure AIT Quality Assurance, defining inspections and workmanship checks, reviewing and approving AIT procedures, witnessing tests, and validating as-built and configuration and test evidence.
Lead configuration and non-conformance management, chairing CCBs and NRBs, owning the NCR database, driving root-cause analyses, and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
Oversee supplier quality, defining PA/QA expectations, performing supplier assessments or audits, monitoring delivery performance, and validating incoming parts, materials, and documentation.
Requirements
Degree in Aerospace, Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, with a Systems Engineering mindset and understanding of requirements flow-down, interfaces, and V&V.
2–5 years experience in satellite product assurance, quality assurance, or AIT, ideally in New Space or traditional space projects.
Knowledge of ECSS-Q standards and familiarity with PA, AIT, configuration management, and non-conformance management.
Hands-on experience with inspection, workmanship verification, test witnessing, and validation of as-built configurations.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with ability to interact with customers, suppliers, and engineering teams.
Fluent in English (technical level); French desirable.
Good to have:
Experience with EEE component evaluation, materials & processes, and supplier PA/QA audits.
Familiarity with quality management tools and NCR databases (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet).
Knowledge of PLM/CM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter) or software configuration management.
Fluency in French and/or experience in an international satellite project environment.
