Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions
"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026.
"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
About the Role
To complete our dynamic and international team, we are looking for a profile of a Senior Project Manager!
Job Description
Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and milestones.
Oversee the project procurement activities, in particular the contractual discussions with suppliers.
Develop teamwork in a collaborative mode and work in synergy with all project team members to achieve project objectives, and in particular with the project technical lead.
Lead project milestone meetings, progress reviews, and debriefs.
Oversee the design, development, and MAIT of satellite systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements
Facilitate programmatic and technical discussions and decision-making processes to address challenges and optimize project performance.
Ensure rigorous documentation and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and foster a collaborative working environment. Use visual management tools.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress and implement contingency plans as needed to address unforeseen issues.
Coordinate with launch service providers to ensure successful satellite deployment.
Oversee pre-launch preparations, including integration, testing, and validation of satellite systems.
Manage in-orbit operations, including initial deployment, commissioning, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Maintain regular communication with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare and deliver project status reports, technical presentations, and executive summaries.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
Implement “lessons learned process” on the project.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
7+ years of relevant experience in project management within the satellite or similar industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Pro-activeness and ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced and result-oriented environment.

Proficiency in French and English languages
Good to have:
Experience in the development of spacecraft design.
Strong understanding of satellite systems, MAIT processes, launch campaign and in-orbit operations.
Knowledge of relevant space standards (e.g. ECSS-M-ST-10C, ECSS-M-ST-40C, ECSS-M-ST-60C, ECSS-M-ST-80C, etc.)
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
