Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendezvous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. Our key projects include

"Orbit Guard" a nanosatellite capable of monitoring objects in GEO orbit, and "Endurance" a docking service extending customer satellites' lifespans by 5 years.

About the Role

To complete our dynamic and international team, we are looking for a profile of a Project Management Office Intern!

Job Description

  • Meeting & Communication Support (internal & external):

    • Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing support materials and meeting minutes.

    • Document action items, risks, gantt elements and other controlled items from meetings to be updated in the tracking tool.

    • Coordinate visual communication, ensuring smooth information flow.

  • Project Data and Reporting:

    • Help prepare and maintain project documentation (e.g., contracts, project plans, risk registers, schedules, SOWs (Statements of Work).

    • Assist in preparing presentations and status reports for stakeholders.

    • Compile and analyze project-related data to support decision-making (e.g., budget tracking, resource allocation, supplier performance metrics).

    • Update project management tools with task statuses, timelines, deliverables, etc.

    • Monitor and report on project issues, ensuring they are tracked to resolution.

  • Market Research and Vendor Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze their capabilities.

    • Help prepare reports on supplier performance and pricing analysis for decision-making.

  • Contract Management:

    • Support in the review of supplier contracts, ensuring key terms align with project requirements.

    • Assist in updating contract tracking systems, ensuring timely execution and delivery.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Help in managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing events for cross-team coordination.

    • Assist in drafting official project communications and reports.

    • Draft and distribute internal communications, including project updates and other project news.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or Master degree in a relevant field such as:

    • Engineering (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering).

    • Business Administration (with a focus on project management or procurement).

    • Supply Chain Management.

    • Quality Assurance or Operations Management.

  • Pro-activeness and ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced and result-oriented environment.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Autonomy, strength of proposal.

  • We value team spirit and problem-solving.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Proficiency in English language.


Good to have:

  • Some knowledge or coursework related to space engineering, satellite systems, or aerospace is beneficial but not required, especially if the focus is more on PMO, procurement, or QA.

  • Any entry-level certifications in project management (e.g., CAPM, Agile) would be an asset.

  • Familiarity with ISO or other quality management standards is a plus.

  • Knowledge of ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards would be valuable.
