About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated GNC Engineer to join our Rendezvous team in Toulouse. This role is key to the development and enhancement of our Rendezvous solution, contributing directly to the mission's success through systems engineering and problem-solving capabilities.

Job Description

  • Refinement of state-of-the-art Navigation algorithms.

  • Development of Collision Avoidance Mode algorithms.

  • Integration of algorithms into the overall state machine architecture and align with

    system parameters (sensors, actuators, and computers).

  • Sensitivity analysis to define the performance of the GNC algorithms.

  • Actively participate in the definition of Rendezvous ConOps (Concept of Operations)

    and Safety Concepts, including Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR)

    strategies.

  • Support the development and execution of GNC Validation & Verification processes to

    ensure the reliability and efficacy of the Rendezvous solution.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in GNC/AOCS systems within the aerospace sector, particularly in spacecraft or satellite operations.

  • Excellent programming skills, with experience in MATLAB and Simulink.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and external partners.

  • Proficiency in English.
