About the Company

We are a deeptech Newspace company founded in 2017. Following three years of
development at Stanford and Singapore, the team has now settled in Toulouse in 2020
to start its In-Orbit Servicing activities. We are now a team of 15 with 10 different
nationalities, exporting our activities over 4 continents. Our Mission is to offer satellite
operators a competitive way of managing their fleet, from Inspection & Surveillance to
Life Extension Services. Space Infrastructure is growing and so the need for
maintaining the assets in orbits.
Our first two servicers are scheduled for launch in November 2022 and Q2 2023 in GEO
Orbit enabling a steady revenue stream for the next stage development of our
technologies.

The position is open to candidates looking for permanent or temporary work. Some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Development of annual and mid-term financial plans (budgets) of the company

  • Analysis and preparation of budget realisation reports & KPI analysis

  • Financial reporting to donors, investors and the Board

  • Responsible for month end, quarterly and year end accounting process

  • liaising with accounting expert to ensuring all controls and accounting standards are met

  • Implement internal controls related to accounting and operations

  • Cooperate with the teams during development of project budgeting and controlling budget implementation

  • Preparation of presentations with financial and operational results for the executive level, to donors and the board

  • Ad-hoc evaluations and analyses

  • Implementing and adapting an accounting system

  • Financial modeling (business plan update and construction)

  • Financial execution (invoicing, PO, transfers...)

Requirements

What we need:

  • Business school or Bac + 5 specialized in finance, audit, management control

  • Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance or similar

  • Experience in controlling, audit, and/or accounting role minimum 2 years

  • Experience at an accounting firm or in the finance division of a medium size company 

  • Very good knowledge of Excel and an interest in information systems.

  • Good level of English: We value team spirit and problem solving. As our team is international, English is the working language at Infinite Orbits

  • Very good level of French

  • Organized, rigorous, motivated person

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Self-starter motivated to improve performance and processes as required

  • Knowledge of the space industry appreciated
